Yes. Vincera operates in all 50 U.S. states. Programs are subject to medical eligibility, which your physician will confirm during your consultation and bloodwork review.
No insurance needed. Vincera is a cash-pay telehealth practice, and our monthly program fees cover your physician care, prescribed medications, and ongoing support. Many patients use HSA or FSA funds for our programs. Lab work is billed separately at the lab's rates and may be eligible for insurance reimbursement.
GLP-1 receptor agonists work by mimicking a natural hormone that regulates blood sugar and appetite. They slow gastric emptying (you feel full longer), reduce appetite signals in the brain, and improve insulin sensitivity. Originally developed for type 2 diabetes, they've shown remarkable efficacy for weight loss in clinical trials, with most patients losing 15-20% of body weight when paired with lifestyle changes.
Vincera prescribes a mix of FDA-approved branded medications (like Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound) and compounded versions of the same active ingredients (semaglutide, tirzepatide). Compounded medications are prepared by U.S. licensed compounding pharmacies under FDA oversight. Your physician will discuss which option is appropriate for you based on your needs and budget.
After your free consult, we order a comprehensive lab panel based on your program. You'll go to a partner lab near you (Quest, LabCorp, or similar, with over 4,500 locations nationwide) for a quick blood draw. Results typically come back in 2-3 days. The exact panel varies by program: weight loss patients get a metabolic workup, hormone patients get a comprehensive endocrine panel, and wellness patients get a longevity-focused workup.
Yes. Direct messaging with your care team is included in every program, with no extra fee. You can ask about side effects, dose adjustments, supplements, lifestyle, or any other questions about your treatment. Most messages are answered within one business day.
There's no minimum commitment. Most patients see meaningful results within 3-6 months and many continue for a year or more for sustained outcomes. Your physician will discuss expected timelines for your specific goals during your consultation. You can pause or cancel at any time without fees.
All medications carry potential side effects. GLP-1 medications can cause nausea, fatigue, or constipation, particularly during dose escalation. TRT can affect estrogen levels, hematocrit, and (in some cases) fertility. Before you start, your physician will review the full risk profile of any treatment, monitor you through regular bloodwork, and adjust your protocol if needed. Direct messaging means you can flag side effects immediately, instead of waiting for the next scheduled appointment.
Yes. Vincera operates on HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. Video visits use certified telehealth platforms. Patient data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell or share your health information with third parties for marketing purposes. See our HIPAA Notice for full details.
We welcome patients transferring from other providers. Bring your most recent labs and your current dosing. Your physician will review your existing protocol and either continue it or adjust based on your bloodwork and goals. There's no penalty for switching providers; we just want to make sure your care continues smoothly.
Yes. All three programs serve both men and women, with protocols tailored to each. Our hormone optimization program in particular includes both male testosterone replacement and female bioidentical hormone protocols for perimenopause and menopause.
Schedule a free consult. A care coordinator will walk through your goals and concerns, explain how each program works, and help you decide what fits, or whether you'd be better served elsewhere. We'd rather tell you that Vincera isn't the right fit than enroll you in a program that won't be a good fit.
